How it works
- How do I share my location?
- Tap Share my location at the bottom, choose how long to share (1 hour, 8 hours or until you stop), then send the link through Messages or any app. When your friend opens it on a device with nowucme, you appear on their map.
- How do I stop sharing?
- Tap the button at the top left (it shows "Sharing" and the time left) and choose Stop sharing. Your location is removed right away.
- Why can't I see my friend after sending my link?
- Your link lets your friend see you. To see them, they have to send you their link and you open it. When someone opens your link, the app offers to share your location back with one tap.
- Does it work when my phone is locked or the app is in the background?
- Yes, while sharing is on. iOS shows a blue indicator at the top of the screen. For best results allow location access and keep Background App Refresh enabled. If you force-quit the app, iOS stops background updates until you open it again.
- Why does my friend see "Updated 12 minutes ago"?
- Location updates are paused when you are not moving, or when your phone has no connection. Updates resume when you move or get a connection.
- Can I follow more than one friend, and name them?
- Yes, up to 10. Tap Friends to see them, rename them (only you see the names) or stop following. Tap a pin to see how far away the friend is and open directions in Maps.
- What happens after the 7-day trial?
- Sharing and following friends pause until you unlock the app with a one-time purchase. Your map and your own location stay free. Tap Restore Purchase on a new device or after reinstalling.
- I bought it but it says my trial ended.
- Open the prompt and tap Restore Purchase. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy it.
- How do I delete my data?
- Stopping sharing deletes your location from our servers. To remove everything tied to your anonymous ID, email us at android@scriptum.ru and tell us the app version. See the privacy policy.
